How do I know if I have a mental health problem?

What does anxiety feel like?
Common symptoms include excessive worrying, racing thoughts, restlessness, muscle tension, dry mouth, difficulty breathing, rapid heartbeat, sweating, tremors or shivering of hands and feet and difficulty relaxing. What is a panic attack?
A panic attack is a sudden episode of intense fear accompanied by symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, breathlessness, sweating, dizziness, and a feeling of losing control. It is important to distinguish it from a heart attack or a cardiac event as misinterpreting it can further worsen the panic attack.
Is it normal to struggle emotionally sometimes?
Yes. Everyone experiences stress, sadness, worry, and emotional ups and downs. A mental health condition is usually considered when symptoms become persistent, intense, or interfere with daily life. Why am I always worried about something?
